Boulevard Apartments

If I could rate my overall experience here I would put a zero but unfortunately there isn’t a way to rate that low and give them the rating they deserve. Do NOT get a ground floor unit here you will regret it, roof creaks horribly. Neighbors upstairs walk around all the time around 1 am and have a dog which runs around all night. During the winter they do not plow or lay down salt every other complex I have lived in does better.. all in all only good thing about here is modern apartments and good on time Mainternance. Besides that, I would avoid this complex with a 10 foot pole and advise anyone looking here to look elsewhere.

I’ve lived at Boulevard Apartments for a while now, and while the location and layout are fine, the living conditions during summer have been incredibly frustrating. My electric bill for a 2-bedroom has been as high as $260/month, yet the AC still cannot cool the apartment properly. Even with the AC running nonstop, the temperature in my unit often stays around 78°F indoors — which is far from comfortable, especially during Michigan’s humid summers. When I raised the issue, maintenance said the AC units “can’t keep up” and suggested I keep the blinds closed during the day. That’s not a real solution when you’re paying this much in rent AND utilities. To make things worse, despite this ongoing problem, they still increased rent this year, along with other monthly fees. Boulevard apartments has been an incredible place that I could call home for a couple years. The complex is nothing short than amazing. Ken, the property manager truly gets to know all of his tenants and is always ready to help whenever you need, maintenance always responds to requests promptly (even same day!), the neighborhood is incredibly safe and quiet, the space is very spacious and comfortable and the team is very friendly! I truly will have to say that Ken is the best property manager I have ever encountered (and probably will ever encounter) and makes living at Boulevard even better! :)

Great property management and maintenance assistance! This complex is very well run and well-kept (clean!). 'Upgraded' apartments are brand new and very modern looking. Walls are really sound proof - we never heard our neighbors. The Boulevard team ensures all your needs are met. Office administration is organized and SUPER responsive. The gym is a perfect size and has everything you could need. The community is in a great location - near the freeway for communing, but also close to Downtown Rochester, etc. Had a great experience here! Edit (1.5 years later!) I moved out of Boulevard about a year and a half ago and accidentally had a package shipped to my old address. The property management was so flexible and held my package, keeping it safe for me, until I was able to come pick it up.

I lived here for over a year and really enjoyed the complex. I moved in right after the unit was renovated and everything was very well done. Anytime we had an issue, maintenance was so quick to respond and fix it. I used the fitness center regularly and it was well kept and had enough equipment for a good workout. Staff was also very friendly and kind, especially Ken. He got to know us and would always wave or stop to say hi when we saw him around. I had packages delivered when I was out of town, and Ken was willing to get them and put them in my apartment so they wouldn't have to sit outside. Also quiet and friendly neighborhood. Would definitely recommend!
