Meadow View Apartments

Should've read the other reviews that are up to 5 years old??? We are experiencing the exact same issues despite 7 months of complaining, and now finding out that they have been issues for 5 years. That's just crazy work. We were not able to look into the place more as we moved from out of state, but to put it bluntly this has been a terrible place to live due to the management not caring at all. The stories of roaches, water boiler noise, and generally not being able to get problems solved are all our reality. The video I have included is the roach problem clearly seen, and they are bad inside as well. Neighbors are nice, and respectful, the apartment itself is large and is okay, but any problems we have will take battling with management to get fixed IF they do get fixed. All this for

I have been a resident of Highland Park for a long time, love this city for many reasons, the hospitality and kindness from the community, friendly and caring teachers at the schools, quick access to the police department, easy access to major highways like rt 1, just to name a few. I have moved to this complex a few years ago. I love the assigned parking and the neighbors are friendly but know how to keep to themselves, not invading others space. I appreciate that, it's not easy to do in an apartment complex. I haven't had many concerns since moving her, only spoken to the office manager twice but both times she was pleasant. I lived at Meadow View (formerly Donaldson Park Apartments) for 1.5 years after relocating to NJ. The original staff (Keith/Janet) were very helpful in getting me approved for an apartment while I was overseas - all via email and regular mail. The apartment was clean and spacious! No frills kind of place, but the neighborhood is very cozy and cute. Walking into downtown Highland Park takes 10 minutes. Neighbors were quiet and respectful; I never had any noise issues. Ownership of the complex transferred to Oxford Realty a little under a year ago. Sara at the main office is extremely helpful and proactive - all of our concerns were addressed promptly and she was always courteous. I have been living here since July 2018 (formally Donaldson Park Apartments) right before Oxford Realty Management took over. I'm extremely happy here for several reasons: (1) The building manager, Freddie, and his staff are exceptional. They are quick to respond to any issues and are always respectful and attentive to any concerns I may have. Everyone gets along with Freddie and he definitely is a big part of why it's a pleasure to live at Meadow View Apartments. (2) I feel extremely safe in the complex and have never heard of any crime occurring on our property. (3) Management is quick to resolve any concerns. There was a period of time when non-renters would use the parking area, resulting in renters not having a spot to park, within a week management ended that problem by being diligen
