Maplewood Apartments

If I could leave a negative star I would! Slum lords own this place! I really can’t believe they do not fix things that have been broken for over a year! Not to mention in the units. People cannot even use the sliding doors to get to their decks! Broken promises of fixing things only to continue to make promises and still waiting for them to be fixed! How frustrating! Don’t even get me started on the roach problem, or the mouse problems here!! The outdoor pool was not even open for 1 day the summer of 2025 & the indoor pool is SO COLD no one will use it! Although I do not live here I have a friend who does and I just can’t believe this place is allowed to be considered “livable”. I’m going to tell you the good and the bad. I had lived in these apartments for a long time and left for a few years and came back about two years ago. rent is currently $1,205 per month, up from $840 per month when I moved in the first time and quite honestly it’s gone down hill drastically over the past few years in terms of quality of the facilities, safety, and maintenance. We love the convenient location and the beautiful wooded setting which abuts a nature preserve with great trails for walking and exploring. The indoor and outdoor pools are nice and the exercise room is nice to have although it’s very basic. The apartments are your standard size and quality cheaply outfitted apartments. I went in last week to inquire about an apartment and I was blown away by the level of professionalism from the office staff. Patrick's kindness and energy mixed with Lynette's knowledge of apartment availability and kindness and sense of fashion from the both of them was the light of my visit. Unfortunately, there were no 3 bedrooms available, but my visit was everything.

I've lived here for 3 years and I love it the party room is nice the pool and weight room is nice and Lynette and Patrick actually care about the tenants and handle business like professionals.

The office staff (Lanette & Pat) are extremely kind and accommodating, they truly go above and beyond to make this place feel like home for every and all residents. Lanette was very helpful when it came to handling the application and moving process. Pat is incredibly friendly and always willing to lend a hand. What the appt complexes lacks quality and newness, is made up for by very reasonable pricing in comparison to apts sizes, and kindness from the staff. The downsides are parking can be tough, no elevators due to buildings being older which can make moving a hassle, and there is general wear/tear due again to the overall age of the apt buildings. But overall a quality place to live especially if you’re trying to ball on a budget.
