Lennar at Bridgewater

Do not buy from Lennar. The house is cheaply built with low-quality materials. After just one year, bathroom tiles are broken, the air conditioner is subpar, and the ceiling lights are cheap. For saving a few bucks, they didn’t even wire the garage door for an automatic opener. I honestly don’t know how it passed state inspection. Very disappointing experience.

I liked the neighborhood so much, I bought a house here. Lennar has been a great builder to work with. Although the houses are a bit cookie cutter, the amenities and neighborhood makes up for it. The homebuilding, sales and warranty process is streamlined and efficient. I used to be a warranty manager for a different homebuilder, and I can attest that Lennar has good quality control systems in place for all stages of the home buying process. This is an affordable neighborhood with surprising touches of luxury that is a great value in the DFW metroplex.

This company is trash! They have the shoddiest construction from the lowest bidder contractors and charge the customer top dollar for the home. Warranty doesn't cover anything, they will send their "Customer Care Representative" who will insist everything is your fault. In my case in particular they installed the external A/C unit on a 40 degree slope with a pad that was too thin that didn't even reach the ground. They couldn't even be bothered to put enough dirt under it to begin with. The pad has sunk and is now no longer level, their representative Austin has given me every excuse in the book about how it is my fault: "This isn't covered under warranty" "We don't do landscaping under warranty" "The A/C pad is optional anyways" - LOL! "It's your responsibility to but dirt under it eve

Beautiful location with very reasonable priced homes. Several amenities and close to the lake.
