Lantern Ridge Apartments

I have been here a few years and while I have some grievances it’s not with the office staff. Gina and Holly have been nothing but supportive and helpful to me and my son for nearly 4 years. They always check in to make sure work orders are good and to follow up if there are issues. Again, I mentioned being here a few years and Ronnie is the best maintenance person they have had. He is honest and respectful of your time and always cleans up after himself. My grievances… the outside could use a good clean. They remodeled the interiors and updated cabinets but the outside appears to not have ever been power washed or repainted ever. It’s a nightmare when you have guest come over. It’s not the office or staff fault that some people leave their mattresses and trash out near the large trash

I like living here when it’s quiet. I have autism and Ms. Gina and Ms. Holly always say hi to me and are nice to me. I like the location but not all the trash laying around. I always have to spend 20 minutes cleaning it up because neighbors don’t want to just put it in the trash bin. Thank you for being my home for over 4 years. Thank you for your kindness and support.

If it's all you can afford these apartments will do, but try your best to rent somewhere else. My unit was original to when the apartments were built in the 80s the cabinets were disintegrating, the flooring had holes in it, the carpets were stained and dirty from the previous renters and the windows and doors got a half inch of ice on the inside of them in the winter making it impossible to keep the unit warm. Before renting and after viewing my unit for the first time I was told by holly all these things would be updated and the carpets would be cleaned before moving in. A month later comes move in day and that was a complete lie, everything was exactly the same and the carpets had not been cleaned. Don't move in Lantern Ridge Apt UNLESS You're desperate!!! RUN!!! I've lived here for almost 3 yrs and it's gotten so much worse. #1) There is no insulation in the ceilings so it sounds like a herd of cattle are stomping over your head. Or, if you live above someone else they'll complain about you stomping. Most of the apartments have hardwood floors, but even if the neighbor had nice thick rugs with padding underneath you'd still hear the herds of cows stomping over your heads. #2) The entire apartment complex is zoned as a dog park with no rules about picking up dog feces. Example: The neighbor above me put her dog on the patio at night to urinate over my patio. Then, during the day she takes it in front of my windows to do it's business there. If I could put no stars, I would! The office staff and maintenance are a joke. They treated my special need daughter horribly. She has breathing issues and seizures it took them over 3 weeks to get the air working. Her apartment got up to 99 degrees. On top of that, they made her lose her voucher because I made her break her lease. They couldn't guarantee it was fixed. SMH, what is wrong with people.
