Kimberly House Apartments

lived there 4 yrs. went from being good place to live to worst place in Alvin. New owners last year. Owners are not from the U.S. AC WONT BE FIXED. They cheat contractors, Hot water boiler broke often.Took lots of cold showers. Flys and trash everywhere. FORGET GETTING YOUR DEPOSIT BACK. People come thru parking lot every month wanting their deposit back. My car was broken into twice. Hidden fees in lease. Loud drunks party all night. NO ON SITE MGMT. Recently started renting to many out of state people with short term 6 month leases. Lots of shady characters and lots of late night activity. Only good reviews are from a year ago. The first month we were there had major water pipe work done inside of apartment. Went through 3 contractors before work was done. Always left a mess and never cleaned after work daily. Constantly made us sick. Water leak a month after they finished. Fixed and then ceiling still stained brown from leaks. Never left food out and had problems with bugs from the day we moved in. Aside from maintenance guy Joe always taking care of us, wasn’t a pleasant stay. Harassed my father in law to make us sign a lease on bigger apartment and owner was always in our personal business. If i could leave 0 stars i would. At first was picky about tenants, then just let anyone move is shortly after to fill empty apartments. Neighbors had big dogs that were not lease agreement dogs that would constantly bark.

We have been here about 4 years! Everyone minds their business and really don't bother each other. Maintenance is always on time when something needs to be fixed. Diana is always so sweet. I personally haven't had a bad encounter with her. The only thing I did not like is that the apartment complex is not gated. So we would always have random vehicles in there. Other than that, I really do recommend these apartments!

We have lived here for over a year and really love it. The remodeled apartments are very nice inside, and the grounds outside are very well kept. There isn't trash everywhere, including around the dumpster, like other places I have lived, so it always looks nice, well kept and clean. And it is very quiet and peaceful. The owners take pride in the property.

Drive past them everyday coming back from work and they have had FOR RENT signs out listing 2 bed 2 bath for over a month now and i finally called to ask the price its over $900. I asked when one will be available and the lady said no one has turned in notice. First off why put for rent signs out when you have none available for rent? Secondly she was extremely rude and hung up on me before i even finished speaking with her. It was some Asian accented lady. Doubt ill be calling them back even if the price was lowered to a not so ridiculous amount. The apartments do not amount to that price they aren't in good shape. Id say they are in ok shape but definitely not for over $900
