Greenwood at Marketplace Apartments

I would strongly RECOMMEND anyone who maybe looking for an apartment not to move to his location. The Assistant Manager is very unprofessional. When my mother called the leasing office she was informed that a 1 bedroom would be $775. We were like great that a good price for the a renovated apartment. Then, she stated no the renovated one at $850, keep in mind the entire we where in the office several people called about a 1 Bedroom and she continue to say $775. While during the application she asked, when would you be ready to move in. We advise next available, which she advise that coming Saturday it would be ready. When we asked could just see what it would look like, she replied," maintenance is in during some work and we can show it. Since, when did people start signing for something

I guess I never got to leave review so I'll just do it now, my roommates and I lived year for almost 2 years and we were one of the tenants whose money was taken by greenwoods property manager who was later arrested on charges of stealing and other things as well. Soon after that management changed and our money was never recovered, but somehow we still were responsible for the money that they new was stolen on their end. So we had to quickly find a new place and get out of there. Poor management, poor communication, and poor services.

Management is awful. When we first moved in, we had so many problems with the apartment and sent in so many work requests that wouldn't get done for months. I've had a kitchen pipe completely fall off and no hot water during winter. It's poorly built also. There were clearly missing pieces of floor upstairs and downstairs. There was a big hole behind the counter that would let bugs in and the backdoor was also not properly attached so dirt would always get in. They say there's an onsite laundry facility but the machines are in a dirty shed so it's better to use the laundromat down the street. I would not live here unless you have to.

What's sad about these apartments is the fact the Security Officer, Mr. Lee, is the biggest drug addict on the property, and the property owners know this, but they don't live on this property. Nor does the office staff. So no one cares about the tenants. It's up to you to care about your neighbors, and they care about you. It's just sad, because when I first moved here, in 2011, this was a great place to live! That didn't last but two years. Now, it's time to go!!!!!

Iived here for two years and two owners my rent was stolen from the office drop box twice and I still payed rent but due to missing money orders my account was always behind cause the employees could never update my profile and state that my money was stolen this hit the news then the owner sold the apartments and my file never got corrected so to the new owners I was late, with no understanding I was evicted and being that my payments are held up with the employees cases I can't get that money back.
