Tl;dr—if you just need a place for a year, this is a decent spot. Don’t plan to stay longer (Note how many 5-star reviews are from people who only toured or just moved in. Or have posted only one review) I’ve lived here nearly three years and it continues to get worse Pros: • Best part: I have an incredible view: from my apartment I get the quasi-forest between Gateway & Steeplechase, and people are pretty good about leaving it alone so we can all enjoy the view. Only true of a few units, but if you get one of those then it’s great • Love the tall ceilings • The fixtures and cabinets are nice (not necessarily “luxury,” but nice) • I almost never hear my neighbors side-to-side • Mgt is good about announcing when they’ll be in apartments for filter changing/scheduled upkeep • I’ve never n

While looking for a new apartment I came across Gateway Lofts in Centerville. I needed to move-in within a few weeks and was able to tour a unit that was available immediately. Both the unit and the ammenities (pool, gym, community room, Starbucks machine, working spaces, etc.) are superior to the other properties I toured, and at a competitive rental rate. I submitted my application within 48 hours of the tour and the application and administrative fees were refunded to me, which is a very nice perk. The entire leasing office team at Gateway, were friendly and professional, from the tour to move-in. A special thanks to leasing agent Samantha for her diligence in addressing my questions and concerns at move-in (during a snow storm)!

Came in for a walk through to get a visual of the apartments. Samantha W. In leasing was very polite and knowledgeable on all the questions I asked. The community seemed peaceful and nice. *ADD ON* I officially moved in October of 2025. So far everything has been exceptional. The apartment was ready to move into without any issues, and the office and Maintenance staff has been great. I want to give a shout out to Maintenance employee Clay P and Koltin C. during the snowstorm on 01/25/26 I asked them to help me clear a parking space and without hesitation they obliged. This is a great community and a place where staff really cares.

We’ve lived here for about 3 months with no issues. Maintenance especially has been amazing! We had issues with our heater and the emergency 24/7 maintenance team came out at 1am to bring us multiple heaters and they were so quick with getting the problem fixed. They kept us updated during the entire process and kept on top of it. Clay and David in particular were very helpful and professional. Thank you guys!

I’ve had an amazing experience with the maintenance team here! They always go above and beyond, and I’ve never had to wait long for anything to be fixed. A special shout-out to Clay he is outstanding! He’s efficient, friendly, and truly takes pride in his work. Every time he comes by, he makes sure the job is done right and that I’m completely taken care of. So grateful for the team here!
