During my Touring experience, I encountered several communication issues with the assigned leasing agent, Madhavi Latha. On multiple occasions, questions were described as “rude,” even though we were attempting to clarify factual details (for which she had previously confidently provided INCORRECT information). The agent did not respond to an email regarding incorrect details about the tour date and unit number. At the first tour, the agent mentioned she was in a rush and asked us not to write anything down. During the tour, she frequently interrupted my questions, and I was unable to complete most sentences. Avoid Fox Valley Villages at all costs! I cannot stress enough how disappointing this complex is. The rent is outrageously high for what you get—overpriced units with minimal, basic amenities that don’t come close to justifying the cost. The appliances are subpar and outdated, the flooring is cheap, and the walls are paper-thin—you can hear everything your neighbors do. The property is filthy. Dog feces are scattered throughout the grounds, and it’s clear management doesn’t care about cleanliness or safety. Speaking of safety, the entry doors are constantly broken, allowing anyone—including local high school students—to wander in, gather in the hallways, smoke weed, and charge their phones. I’ve seen so many reviews about “tours” that don’t reflect the actual living experience. The tours are nothing special and it’s just to get you to sign a lease. Once you sign the lease, it goes downhill from there. Our building’s common area/hallway was consistently used as a smoke room. People would smoke weed right outside our door and when I told the office they told me to go out and take a picture of these people to email to them. Good luck getting anything fixed. I had a leaking problem with our washer, waited two weeks to have someone LOOK at it even though I went to the office to talk to someone AND they told my husband they would send someone the very next day. They even tried to lie and told us they had already been in our apartment and fixed the issue, not knowing we had a camera
