Butterfield Oaks Apartments

Lived here for a year. Had a 2nd floor unit and loved it- spacious and lots of natural light. I was living there when BH management took over, and the property manager moved in to the unit under me, it took me a couple weeks to figure out why my new downstairs neighbor was driving the golf cart around - was kinda funny, honestly, and he was a chill downstairs neighbor so all good. I moved because the location was tough - that left turn onto Butterfield can be challenging - and you can't really walk to anything besides a small park and subdivisions. I also wasn't big on the keyless entry BH installed. But if you don't care about those things, it's a nice place to live.

My family and I enjoy living at Butterfield Oaks. We just moved in this September and already feel at home in this quiet, family friendly community. Parks, trails and shopping are nearby making this an ideal location. The management team is top notch and very responsive-they actually answer the phone! Shout out to Jana and Jon who were incredibly helpful throughout the application and move-in process. Our unit is beautifully updated, spacious and cozy. The gas fireplace is a huge plus! We love it here!

Residential management companies always refer to the community in broad terms. But for the resident, the estimation of the community is based primarily on the amount of consideration, courtesy and respect that is being extended by the closest neighbor. Since moving to the Butterfield Oaks community a few weeks ago, I’ve had to endure a bombardment of noise generated by the tenants residing below that is reminiscent of what you might expect living in a stereotypical underprivileged community. I voiced a complaint on Day One and then requested to be released from my lease obligation two days later. Nevertheless, my request was also prompted by an allergic reaction to carpet fibers – which was a surprise to me as I have not lived in a carpet environment for almost 2 decades. Management basica

One of the superior place for living in Illinois, it’s provide all kind of basic facilities as well as easily get some house hold stuff from near by stores.

I’ve lived at Butterfield Oaks for almost a year now and just renewed my lease! It’s been a fantastic community to live at, especially as I was moving from a house to an apartment, but these units are so well kept, private and honestly have everything I needed to make it a smooth transition. Jana has been so approachable and easy to work with since day one and got me approved and moved in very quickly. My dog, Gracie and I often pop in the office to say hello, and the management team keeps treats handy just for that reason! The property is very well maintained, the pool is great, and the bark park is an added perk. I was also impressed with snow removal over the winter.
