Emerald Court Apartments

DO NOT RENT J105!! We moved into J105 and it was completely trashed on move in which can be seen on the move in inspection. The carpet wasn't even cleaned or vacuumed at all. It was so dirty we spent 2 days cleaning it before we could even move our stuff in. There were nails in the carpet everywhere and multiple issues needing fixing upon move in. And then we noticed the very musty smell from the upstairs.. there had clearly been a leak from the upstairs that went into the downstairs and it was never fixed causing the toilet and tub to sag significantly. We then had some rain and a massive roof leak that caused mold inside the walls along with the walls literally being squishy and asked to leave and we were let out of our lease due to this but then turned around and charged almost 1000 dol

Overall quality of the apartment is good. I just moved out at the end of my 1 year lease. Was in a newly updated unit, which was basically everything except the bathroom. It was nice. Lots of square footage, has decent amenities. Lots of families living there. Only hard part is parking at certain times if you have more than 1 car. Huge plus that a parking spot is included in rent. Bart is super friendly, understanding and does a lot to help out. Maintenance crew is very present. I've never had a better maintenance crew at an apartment. On site Monday through Friday, always friendly and always working. 5 stars for the crew. Only reason for a one star deduction is the unfortunate location of it. I scouted out at least six other apartments then I randomly went to this one and they were able to speak with me without an appointment. They were able to work with me on moving dates which helped a lot. Staff is really nice especially maintenance. They are quick to fix anything and you can send your inquiries online (versus calling). I opted to rent a garage where I can park my car and store more tools and supplies. I gave this place 4 stars because it would be nice if the gym area was open later. It's challenging to make it in after work. Otherwise, it's a ptretty quiet area and a walking distance to Safeway, Subway and 7/11.

Stayed here for about about 2 years. I had no issues with management, and the neighbors were pleasant. A bit loud at times, but this should be expected from a locations so closely placed nearby a school.

My wife and I lived at emerald court for 3 years. Good size apartments, very clean and well maintained. Brandon was very helpful with any Maintnence needs and was willing to help at any hour!
