Elite at Lakeview

Maintenance will lead you on for months before they actually fix an issue. They love to mark work as complete before they even fix the work… and that’s if they ever do. I’ve had to take matters into my own hands several times. Smh. Affordable but crazy work

This is a terrible apartment complex, company, maintenance, and management team. I had nothing but a horrible experience with them. In the beginning they promised discounted rent and tried to go back on their word. They rushed me to sign and pay, but didn’t want to show me my apartment until I signed up. They showed me their fake apartment. My apartment was nasty and wasn’t ready on move in day. I had to clean it myself. The apartment even had a smell to it. Maintenance team is trash. They ride around on golf carts doing nothing all day. I asked them multiple times to come out and fix the issues I had since day one and they never did. I started getting roaches through the walls because of how old the building was and my neighbors. They only came out once to spray. So I had to buy my own. M

This is the entire complex. Apartments are not move-in ready. Several outlets were completely coming out of the wall at move-in, which violates building code and is an extreme safety and fire hazard. When we asked them to fix this issue, they canceled our work orders repeatedly and lied to their parent company, claiming the issue had been fixed. It took five weeks of constantly begging the landlord to do anything, reaching out to code enforcement, and begging their parent company to step in (they refused to at first, claim in that our landlord was in the right and had fixed all the problems) This place does not prioritize their tenants. Ummmm this place is not it. Viewed a fully furnished place a month before moving in. Before moving in, there was a shooter on the loose from near by apartments. That should’ve been a red flag. Anyway moved some of my stuff. An hr after moving in, nothing but roaches coming from the kitchen. When it rained, water was coming from the wall and coming onto the floor. Someone came to my door and asked if I sold drugs. There were shooting near by every other day. I only been at that apartment less than a week. Broke my lease and moved back to a family member house. I got tired of calling or going to the leasing office about the apartment I was in. They wanted to place me somewhere else, but I didn’t feel safe being there. James was so incredibly helpful! I needed a few things updated/fixed in my home and James was not only able, but willing to help with it all. Even when my dishwasher had an unexpected problem while attending to it, he found a way to make it all right! Very grateful to him. He’s definitely giving Elite at Lakeview a good reputation!!
