Laura Heigl and her team are the absolute best! As first-time homebuyers moving from out of state, we were nervous and had many questions. Laura was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and always available to help us throughout the entire process. She made everything so much easier and guided us every step of the way. We’re so grateful for her expertise and highly recommend her to anyone looking to buy a home!
Absolutely the worst realty experience we have had. This was our third interstate move, the most expensive home we’ve purchased, and the absolute least supported we’ve ever felt. We were unable to attend the inspection due to being out of state, and no one attend for us or offered. The seller was present however. They recommended The Home Team, who performed the most expensive, least thorough inspection we’ve ever had. When we tried to back out of the sale, my agent talked down to me as if I’d just never bought a house before and didn’t understand the process. She very much pushed us to continue the sale. The final walkthrough was done by our agent, and we took possession 5 days after close. I asked what would happen if issues were discovered upon possession and was assured they would b
I had a disappointing experience with the manager/broker whom I hired to assist me in procuring my new residence. Throughout our engagement, he demonstrated a profound lack of commitment, communication, and attention to detail, ultimately resulting in a subpar experience. Firstly, his hands-off approach and failure to keep me informed were evident. He neglected to communicate with me crucial feedback with a previous seller's agent, leaving me in the dark regarding pertinent details regarding the property I had made an offer on. Only after my request did he provide transportation twice during a 3 month period to view properties. Furthermore, his lack of proactive engagement was concerning. Additionally, when it came to negotiating the purchase price of my current home, he disregarded my ins
I’m extremely unhappy with my experience. I had an offer come in on my home and my realtor reached out to me so we could counter on price.. never did she think to discuss the purchase agreement with me. Come to closing, (which she couldn't attend to personal reasons, which was fine), I find out multiple items I intended on keeping was included in the sale. I had to leave my washer & dryer, and my garage fridge, almost my curtains, and my tv mount??? She found a free set washer and dryer for me, which was a complete downgrade and the washer doesn’t work. I had to throw away a bunch of food due to having to leave my garage fridge. We talked about the situation and she said it’s my fault for not reading the contract before signing.. but isn’t that why you get a realtor? If I knew what to do,
My wife and I had a wonderful experience with Scott Lindsay as our realtor. We were first-time homebuyers and a bit intimidated by the process, but learned so much from Scott as he guided us through each step. Scott cares for his clients and made us feel that our needs were important, and gave us his undivided attention. He was quick to set up showings and communicate. He is a great listener and friendly to the point where we really looked forward to every showing. At the showings, Scott's strengths include knowledge of the Indy market, home inspection advice, and learning about his clients' individual needs. When it came to putting in the offer, Scott is strong in negotiation tactics in addition to price. We made an offer on a competitive home, and wouldn't have been accepted if it wasn
