Do yourself a favor and stay away from Carabetta properties. Been living in Westfield glen for over a year and it’s been nothing but a nightmare. Management is so disorganized and rude. Forget about getting any maintenance done without having to call numerous times for the same issues only to get an attitude. They don’t care about you whatsoever and the people they have answering phones are some of the rudest people I’ve ever talked to especially Natalie. I’ve been getting water in my basement since I’ve moved here in April of 2024 with no solution or even care to come out and fix. All the paint is peeling off my basement floor from the water, it’s disgusting. Have to run a dehumidifier just to keep it somewhat dry down there. This was one of many "pre-existing" deficits before moving in (multiple large cracks in the basement foundation). We've lost many items (TVs / desktop computers/decorations/ furniture/ a washing machine/ and much more) Most importantly, our health! Seriously, years of breathing in mold have caused medical complications that are documented via HHC. Requests maintenance multiple times. They finally put a sump pump in & it wasn't properly installed. There have been other maintenance issues that weren't repaired after multiple Maintenance requests. It's sad because this complex is in a convenient & comfortable area. UPDATE: Sept. 2025 , Now I'm being evicted after speaking w/ Salvador C (who's currently incarcerated) offered me 3 months of free rent on a "recorded line" , given the amount o

Whatever you do stay far away from this company, the maintenance is terrible, I have many work orders from an inspection and here we are months later and no maintenance have yet entered my apartment. Very large amounts of mold, cracks in the floor, cracks in the ceilings, water leaks and etc. Also let me not forget to mention, the people in the leasing office down in Middletown, at new field towers are very rude and disrespectful. There is a lady who works in the leasing office her name is Hilda Ramos. She is one of the most rude, nasty, and unprofessional people that I have ever had to deal with. After all the years of me renting from Carabetta, She speaks down on tenants and comes across to be very disrespectful. She thinks since she has a title and sits behind a desk, she has some typ

They have a very poor way of running their business they make you do all this running around for a year and months and then when you’re supposed to move in as they say the last minute, they tell you, you don’t qualify. This company sucks. I do not recommend it to anybody. It’s a poor way of running business. You get somebody’s hopes up so high where the point that they’re packing up to move for you to tell them days before that they don’t qualify. It’s pathetic Yeah, they own half of Meriden and treat their people like this. The world sucks as it is the least they can do is meet you halfway to make it a little easier thanks Carabetta for nothing.
