Atlas 236 Apartments

This is a great apartment building with a major flaw. The positives are that the property manager is incredibly kind and helpful. My dryer stopped working and the manager Tennessee was quick enough to replace and install it the very next day. Moving in was convenient and the common areas are clean. Neighbors are quiet and the unit has new appliances. The flaw, that I am shocked hasn’t been mentioned in other reviews, is that there are constant false fire alarms. I am not sure if they are set off by tenants or just faulty equipment. I have lived here for 8 months and have had a fire alarm go off once (sometimes twice) every month. Best apartment community I've ever lived in (and I've lived in a LOT). Tennessee and staff really care about making this place so nice to live in, and any maintenance issues I've reported get handled right away. Nice neighbors, too!

I’ve been living at Atlas 236 for almost 4 years now, and I have to say, it’s been a great experience. The outside of the building looks modern and well-kept, and the landscaping is always on point. It’s a really pleasant area to walk around, and you can often see people out for a stroll or walking their pets, which gives it a nice community vibe. Plus, everything you need is nearby- stores, restaurants, a movie theater, and even a bodega- all within walking distance. Inside Atlas, it always feels fresh and welcoming. It’s a clean and comfortable place to come home to at the end of the day. I live in Atlas for a year. I only have good experiences living here. Mantainance people are quick to respond, leasing team here is really friendly specifically Tennessee and would answer any questions or concerns that I have. The apartment also located in a pretty safe neighborhood. I would recommend for anyone looking to move up North!

Toured, these apartments get the flooring waxed in between tenants, smells toxic, disgusting and overwhelming. They say the smell dissipates, but after a few days of getting to dissipate and still smelling toxic disgusting and overwhelming isn't a good sign.I'd beware of preleasing, and not seeing the apartments here.
