Apartments at Kirkland Crossing

If I could give zero stars, I would. This apartment complex is an absolute disaster. Trash is constantly overflowing, dog poop is everywhere, and management does nothing to enforce basic cleanliness. The so-called “luxury” they advertise is a complete joke. Residents’ children run around the community center unsupervised, making it impossible to enjoy any of the amenities, as they do anything and everything to destroy the property. Meanwhile, maintenance requests take weeks to be addressed, and when you finally get a response, it’s dismissive at best. The staff is unhelpful and apathetic, despite countless complaints from residents. Don’t believe those positive reviews about Elicia. We are family of 4 and we ask for some information about one apartment 3 beds, 2 baths, we make the appointment and when we arrived they doesn’t have schedule the appointment, anyway Elicia Myteckes was the very friendly person who show us the apartment, everything was good and she tell us if we want to submit the application it will be 75.00 each person 18 years and older applicants none reimbursable, also an administration fee of 400.00 and don’t worry if you don’t get approved we reimburse the 400.00, we never get it back, they said only if you cancel the application 48 hrs within goes back , the screen background take more than 72 hrs by it self, how can I cancel the application in less than 48 hrs? Stay aways of this scam.

Elicia M., the office manager, definitely deserves 5 stars. I’m nearing the end of my lease and she has been amazing since day one. She is always very kind, calm and helpful. She is responsive and never hesitates to go above and beyond. I’ve enjoyed my time here and she helped make it feel a little more like home. Thank you for everything.

I love this community because it feels like home. The staff members are awesome, the maintenance is prompt, and I've built great friendships with some of my neighbors. Being very close to a major expressway, and a nice outlet mall is a plus. The amenities are nice, especially the pool, gazebo, and indoor basketball court. My apartment is very spacious with a dope layout, and the attached garage is very convenient. Would be 5 stars if quality of construction was better, but the pros definitely outweigh the cons.

The overall experience was good. The apartment was really nice, the area and the gardens are beautiful, no problems. The only thing I should mention as bad is that before signing the contract I said explicitly that I needed the apartment only for 5 months, the administration staff agreed (and in accordance to this they increased the monthly rent) but the contract had an "auto-renewal" feature (hidden within its many pages) and they sent me a reminder when it was too late, so I had to pay extra. I would have liked if 1) this auto-renewal feature was totally disabled since we agreed it was only for 5 months or 2) they would sent me the email before so I would not have had to pay extra.
