Waterford Apartments

I have sent in a work order since October 2022 to get my a/c fixed they came in took it apart and it is now April 28 still has not been fixed. It's sometimes almost 90 degrees at night. Matience said they tried to come fix it but couldnt enter my apartment becasue they had no key which is weird because they came into my apartment without me being there back in october and took off the pipes and coils off the a/c. I sent in a work order for my ceiling fan to be fixed it's hanging by wires a month ago (its hanging even more now). They finally came yesterday but said they couldn't enter my apartment because I had a dog loose which was a lie because my dog is crated! Also the light in the breeze way has been hanging for a couple of weeks I put in a work order for that as well still not fixed!

DO NOT MOVE HERE! My mother has lived here for about 10 years and has had multiple leaks (so much that the carpet was soaked) and needs to be replaced. There are multiple things wrong that have yet to be fixed. I lived here for a while and when my air went out instead of fixing it they just kept adding freon. I had a new baby and had to spend nights with other family and friends until they fixed it which was some weeks. Powers Properties (the owners) is a joke. They continue going up on the rent which would be fine if the apartments were worth it. They don’t manage upkeep and if they do “fix” anything it takes months and in my mothers case...years. My mother doesn’t like change or she would’ve been out a long time ago.

Current tenant. Awful apartment complex. When we moved in we were told to supply the office with a list of any repairs needed, and did. A few of those things were eventually fixed after MONTHS of living here. Constant issues with plumbing and pests. Very noisy. And the kicker! Our air conditioning unit went out three days ago. Called the office at 2pm on a Wednesday, no answer, left VM, no callback. Called again the next day, and they said they would send someone out ASAP. No service still. Called again today and guess what? They told me they have ten separate AC units out, just in this complex! And one maintenance worker! Which I know isn't even true because I've met two of them! Not to mention they hadn't even taken a look at our unit! Three days and we can't even get someone to swing by

Current and soon to be past tenant. The new property manager is a major issue she unplugs the phone line while she’s in the office and doesn’t care at all about tenants. I’ve overheard her talk about how the tenants constantly whine about stupid things and if they wanted repairs to move to a nicer apartment complex. Majority of the time the maintenance man doesn’t know how to fix issues and doesn’t get to them until months after the original call was made. We’ve had our A/C out for months during the summer and guess what…they didn’t care at all. And will take money off your rent to rat out other tenants breaking rules so they don’t have to do there own job. It’s disrespectful and laughable how badly tenants are treated for about $800 a month for 2 bedrooms. Shame on powers properties for l

so far...it's a change. they charge $300 refurbished fee but when we moved it seemed as if the only thing done was the carpet was vacuumed, somewhat. I have no oven racks my ceiling is leaking a small amount there are stains on the carpet the appliances are old except the refrigerator. the cabinets are dirty and broken. 2 of the shelves are broken. the toilet and bathtubs were dirty. hey but maybe it's just me being somewhat of a neat freak. I gave this a 4 star based on the neighbors and noise amount so far. Update 9/12 I've waited 3 months now for my garbage disposal to get fixed. This is extremely irritating. My sink floods when the dishwasher is ran now. My toilet has been "out of commission" for about 3 weeks now. The only thing that is being done promptly is pest control but they o
