I really do think Vicars has good intentions. My wife and I had several projects done at our house that were just ok. Maybe we put too much on Derrick's plate. I just wish things were handled differently.

We’ve been in our home since January of 2022. We were thankful to be in the first round of homes being built in our community. We found it at just the right time and were able to make changes in the upgrades (LVP flooring, single large basin sink, gas range), as we had those in our previous home build. Thus far — we love our home! There is a significant difference in the quality of the building materials compared to our last home and you can tell that VC takes pride in their home builds. Of course we’ve run across some smaller issues, but that’s to be expected with new homes. The same day that we’ve had issues, we’ve had contractors and project managers at our home fixing the issue. I found myself in a challenging position in efforts to help my in laws build something within reason and budget. Emie first and foremost answered the phone well after 5 pm which wow! In 2024, that’s not the hospitality you receive! Then, Shaun came out and presented us with everything we asked for but it came at a cost we just couldn’t do. After thinking outside the box, getting us the NEEDS, we were able to get everything they needed and a few wants within budget! I can’t express how much value there is in my first two experience’s with Vicars, Discount Garages. They have truly gone above and beyond our expectations in this building market. VC Homes haven been amazing. We were first time home buyers and the quality of our home was amazing. We have friends who built a far larger more expensive home. They have had so many things to fix and repair and the home building company is still fixing things almost 2 years later. That’s if they show up on time. Our VC Home was quality in every aspect. Everyone knows as a home settles you have a few things to fix and VC Homes is so responsive and communicates with there home owners extremely well. I can 1000% recommend VC Homes and if we build another home or do any additions on our current home, we would go with VC Homes without even thinking about it. It has been a great experience!
