Townhouse on the Park

I’m now reaching the end of my second year lease and I love everything about living here. 1 space is gorgeous, lots of room and sunlight, really fantastic space for NYC living 2 my commute to midtown manhattan for work is 15-17 minutes door to door, fantastic train options all less than two blocks away (E M 7 G) 3 so close to the best waterfront views of the city, I love going for walks by the water every time I have the chance 4 super pet friendly, I moved with two dogs and two cats and I really couldn’t find many places allowing all of my fur family. There’s a one off pet fee per pet. 5 nice neighbours for the most part 6 I always had my service requests tended to I feel the benefits above outweigh some grievances: package room was messy but has improved significantly overtime. Mail gets stolen every other week and no one in management really does anything about it. If you care about important documents, credit cards etc. then you basically can’t use your address to get mail. There have also been some cases of identity fraud from all the stolen mail including credit card fraud.

For the most part Im really satisfied with the spaces of the house. This is somewhat different than what I used to rent before and I love living here. Neighbor’s are wonderful and the guy Isa, even though he’s the only one can take care of townhouse complains and fixation, he responds well and handles pretty good.

Townhomes on the Park is a wonderful community in a terrific neighborhood. The apartments are modern and spacious with proximity to great public transportation, cultural institutions like MoMA PS1, and the waterfront with stunning views of Manhattan. We enjoyed our time here and highly recommend to others. The property management team was pleasant to work with and we did not have any issues with our apartment functionality although some neighbors did.

****WARNING******* This is a long post. I am only providing this feedback because I wish someone had told my husband and I prior to us renting here and having to move again after one year. My husband and I just moved out after living there for a year. We were attracted to the complex because of the large living area and the floor plan. This was the worst decision we could have made. We had multiple issues that caused us to live. First of all we rented the corner unit right by the main street. 4541 11th. I have never in my life lived in a townhouse that was so poorly insulated in reference to sound or energy. We could literally hear everything outside and over top of us.
