Toll House Apartments

My experience living at Tollhouse Apartments for almost 2 years was great. Walter was very good to work with, the maintenance staff took care of issues that arose in a timely manner, and the complex overall was well maintained. Recently new laundry facilities were installed which is a bonus. This complex is safe, has ample parking, and is very centrally located, more reasons I highly recommend.

We completed a project today in their parking lot, and it was such a great experience for us and our staff. The communication was seamless with the Property Manager onsite coordinating our schedule and informing the residents, and the place looks well taken care of too! You can tell this company cares.

This is about the application process, for those who are thinking about applying for these apartments; the first time my partner went to view the apartment and such was very smooth and walter was very helpful, we then get started on our application process and turn in everything the day of like they requested, it was a friday when we turned everything in and we understood if the weekend would delay the process. During the week, the communication was very poor, they were quite literally never in their office (no exaggeration), just for walter to tell us we were approved but then later backtracked, was disrespectful to my partner during the process, and not to mention it took us calling up there to find that we weren’t approved after all and confused on the whole communication process. So far so great with Toll House. The front office staff are very good with communication and make you feel like family. The onsite visit went fantastic and I felt like all my questions and concerns were addressed. Staff is committed to updating buildings and processes like new laundry facilities and security of building access. I will post another review after being in an apartment for six months. Highly recommend this far!

Edit to reply: you can improve it by putting out a memo to stop having residents throw bird seed and bread to the birds or issuing a fine, and creating a reasonable way to pay rent within a 3 mile distance of the complex that doesnt incur additional fees or to have a mailing check option, and spray the backlot for rats because I see more of them! || Hidden rent increase: Tollhouse apartments halfway through our lease switched to a payment processor where the nearest place to pay in-person is 14 miles away, otherwise you are forced to pay by card which is a 28 dollar a month fee. This feels illegal, as there should be a way to mail in a check or pay at the front office. Not to mention, there are rats/mice behind the building currently with elderly dementiaed neighbors throwing bread and bir
