The Villages Of Chapel Hill Apartments

I love this apartment complex! The grounds are beautiful with mature trees. I had a loft apartment with my daughter. We called it The Cozy Loft, and it was. I recently experienced a family tragedy. The site manager, Brad and the maintenance staff, Martin and Mikel, were very helpful and supportive. So far I am very impressed with the new management team. I hope they stay!

I don't normally review, and many I see will say "don't stay here" or "this is the place to live". All I will say is stay at your own risk. I've experienced a lot of frustration. Under previous management: -repairs that were not addressed. Non functioning toilet downstairs that never got fixed; toilet upstairs having the same issue but functioning -took a month to get my mailbox key -fridge with a non-working icemaker -upstairs bathroom door that wouldn't close because hinges were painted over -not believing me when I said the porch and steps had mold and algae. I've slipped down those stepd at least 4 times when they are wet -water company told me my hot water was submetered and the cold was billed to me as a percentage of what everyone else is using in the complex (doesn't sit well with

Villages is now under new management and I highly recommend NOT moving here because of them. The last ones weren't great, but the new ones seem worse. Somehow they lost my lease and, because of that, are forcing my mom and I to sign a new lease for a longer period under a higher rate. Then, they had the gall to call their offer "generous" and ask for a good review. A good review for taking advantage of your tenants? Yeah, right

I have lived at The Villages of Chapel Hill for about 3.5 years now and have been renting apartments for about 15 years of my life. Below I am outlining the current (as of November 2025) positive and negative aspects of living at The Villages of Chapel Hill and what I have experienced on this property. Positives: We recently switched to a new management company, and things are already so much better. Brad and Andee, the property manager and assistant property manager, are amazing. I think what impresses me the most is how much they genuinely care about the residents and the property. It shows in their actions, their work ethic and how they communicate with me. all around bad. lost my lease with my free month offered to me by druvker and faulk alexander forrest did not honor it and charged me for that month and lost my lease with raised rent I have also had rust for over a year now. my neighbor has mold and her ceiling caved in the other day. charging me for double water as well when with random other fees. would not recommend
