The Sequoias Senior Apartments

My 87 year old, very picky brother moved in the beginning of 2025 and he is DELIGHTED with his new life at the Sequoias. It is big enough to have four floors, with a total of 57 apartment homes, but small enough to allow for a very close knit community. The residents are friendly; singles and couples live there. There are many activities to choose from including games and talks and once a month birthday celebrations, all conducted in a spacious community room with kitchen. They also have community potlucks. Four important things to note, it is NO LONGER A SHAG COMMUNITY (the building is privately owned by someone who cares deeply that all the residents enjoy this community which they've carefully selected to call home) The second thing is that it is an INDEPENDENT living apartment communit

My wife and I moved to The Sequoias in October of 2024, and couldn’t be happier. Not only is it about 1/6 the size of our previous senior apt. a couple of miles away, it just feels so much homier. Everyone has been so welcoming and friendly. Gives off the feeling of a close knit community without being too intrusive. The well lit, safe & secure underground garage has ample sized spaces (my car was hit twice in the tiny spots at the other apt.) and instead of looking out my window at an endless wall of other apartments, I look out on the beautiful raised bed garden area, trees and lawn. We feel so lucky to be here and look forward to seeing the grounds in Spring,Summer & Fall.

Hi, my name is Doug Samuelson who just moved into Sequoias senior living facility. I had been looking for an apartment for over three months and just moved in October 1 of 2024. I finally found Sequoias senior apartments after visiting nine different facilities that weren’t up to my expectations and found Sequoias on my last attempt. I am so pleased with this establishment and the people who live here that I am truly ecstatic. The one and two bedroom apartments are specially designed and I would suggest anyone looking for a senior living facility as good as this to come and visit.

Living at the Sequoias is like having a second family. The residents make this a very special place. You can be independent or join in as many activities as you want. You are always welcome. Our manager, Heidi is outstanding! She cares about everyone and is always there to help with anything. Come join us. Welcome home!
