The Pointe on Calloway Apartments

Absolutely horrible place to live my family has lived here for over 3 years now and from the roaches, gnats, shutting the water off without notice, awful paint jobs, mold under painted bathroom tiles it’s an absolute nightmare to live here. I have a 6 month old and I absolutely hate that we have to live here because I can’t support myself alone. The rent is outrageously high for very awful low quality apartments that are quite frankly a health hazard. We have had a fire in one of the apartment buildings last March in 2025 and they just have it boarded up. The City of Hurst Inspectors have come out multiple times but haven’t been able to do much. I have had people come into my apartment from the office or maintenance without knocking opening my front door and I have also had them open my LO

This place is horrible… I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy … the roaches the gnats… they lie about the water and say it’s all allocated by how many people live there and it’s super expensive because they have a huge leak in the pipes I had to ask one of the people fixing the pipes one day for the truth.. this is also a section 8 housing so you get ALL of your section 8 activities.. yes sir.. it’s wonderful. Also I had a horrible gnat issue for months and pest control wouldn’t come at all.. I’m talking I’m catching 100 a day in my traps… and the worst part about this place?? Get ready… I moved out and I come back later than night for my pets and they have changed the lock on me because they saw my moving truck.. Terrible service from the new manager, Mrs. Vella. All the time she wants to be charging things that not even she can explain. The pool has not been opened for more than a year and mantainance is required almost everyday. Be careful because they don’t return the deposits of anything Check that your payments coincide with your contracts because they charged me more and they don’t return the rest

Moved in 2 years ago. Didn’t have too many problems but as time went along the and the companies changed the property tremendously declined. First issue I had in my kitchen where everything was live even when it wasn’t plugged in or turned on it was so much electricity in my apartment that it was shocking my kids and myself. Was told by the property manager at the time that they came in and checked and then a filling thing so maybe we were making it up. So we dealt with it for a week Before we got a new management company which manager took the complaint serious and hired electrician to come out, which indeed find out everything in my apartment was live coming from the outside, where somebody wired the wiring into my AC unit and it was puncture through the wire. The new property management are some of the worst people I've met specifically Jessica and her assistant Vella. They are actively hostile to residents I know people whos apartments have flooded and they've done nothing about it the rats, roaches, and other vermin are out of control and the tow company they use to enforce parking will sit there and wait for a visitors pass to expire. my girlfriends car was towed no less than 20 minutes after her pass expired. The property managers need to be fired and have this place condemned
