The Heltsley

Honestly I’m unsure of everyone’s problems with this complex. It’s not the BEST- but it’s also not even bad? Lots of room, parking, nice people. No bugs. No rodents besides squirrels outside. Pretty solid place!

The property has been going downhill in the last couple of years. The property changed ownership earlier this year and had a name change from SoFi Redwood Park to The Heltsley. So far my experiences with the new maintenance guys have been good. Unfortunately some loud neighbors moved in and they like to blast music at random times during day or night (like 1:30am on a Thursday). In post-COVID times people are using the pool more... and sometimes hold loud gatherings especially on weekends during the summer, with music echoing several buildings away. If you want a quiet apartment, definitely stay away from the pool. Usually they wrap up their gatherings by midnight at least but it is VERY loud with obviously drunken people scream-talking like they're in a club. Turning left onto Whipple f

Current resident. Lately management has changed and is not as responsive as before. And packages are being stolen from the mailroom consistently for the past few weeks. No action taken other than telling us to file a police case and handle at our end. Been happy residents here for many years but disappointed lately :(

I’m currently living here and honestly just looking forward to moving out. Disorganized and inconsistent, and communication is a constant problem.

I’ve been here for 2 1/2 yrs. Overall it is a quiet & clean building. Just don’t have any packages deliver here or store any valuable bikes in the bike cage because they will get stolen. I am fortunate to be able to send packages to my work so I do that instead or the Amazon pick up locations. Work orders are taken care of quickly for the most part and the wash rooms are usually working and clean but if not there are some in the other buildings that can be used. It seems this part has gotten better over the years. I do enjoy it here and my neighbors are all very friendly. If you’re not a dog lover this isn’t the place for you. I feel like almost all renters have dogs including me 🥰❤️❤️
