They stepped in at a difficult time in our lives and helped my Mom and me organize 50 years of belongings and memories for transition to a new living space for my Mom. When we were introduced to Brent Mardesich and Tailored Transitions, our family was navigating an extremely difficult time. My parents' wish was to stay in their home of 63 years for the remainder of their lives. However, my dad had been diagnosed with lung cancer, and his need for 24/7 nursing care had exhausted their savings, and the reverse mortgage they had taken out was almost depleted. Mom was disabled due to a hip fracture and needed daily assistance as well. As a family, we realized that the only answer was to sell their home so that we could use the proceeds to move them to an assisted living facility out of the area, which was closer to their kids and grandkids. This move would give them the care that they needed and allow all of us to participate more in their day-to-day lives.
