Indian Creek

I really love living here at Indian Creek in Redwood Shores. It’s a very well-organized and beautifully maintained community. Everything is always clean and peaceful, and the environment feels safe and quiet. One of the best things about this place is the peace. It’s calm, relaxing, and perfect for anyone who values a tranquil atmosphere. I truly enjoy living here and highly recommend it!

Rebeca was a warm and informative host for our tour. She took the time to show us both available floor plans and walk the wealth of property amenities including showing us the convenient access to the bay trails behind the property. I highly recommend this polished, professionally managed and manicured complex from our initial tour.

I have yet to move in, but I already feel at home. The serenity of stepping out of the complex to the lagoon is even more calming than the quiet place at the creek I lived before. But the experience starts before, when you enter the door to the front office and meet with (my new neighbor) Rebecca. Maybe it’s the surrounding of the Indian Creek complex, or her Hawaiian life background or simply the way she is, you are home when you are in her office. Even before I move in she has helped me so much with my biggest challenge of getting my gran piano and my electronic church organ moved inside. I can’t wait to move it and look forward to meet you as my new neighbor when you decide to joint this community.

If you plan to work from home or value peace and quiet, this apartment may not be suitable. Unfortunately, my experience at this apartment has been challenging due to noise. There is no effective noise reduction between units, so footsteps, dropping things constantly, kids running, early morning closet doors sliding back and forth as early as 5–6 a.m. are very noticeable. Attempts to address this with neighbors have not been successful, which makes it difficult to have a quiet living environment. The noise has been so disruptive that I often have to leave the apartment in the afternoons or on weekends to get some quiet place.

My wife and I have been living at Indian Creek for 5 years. It used to be a good apartment complex, now it's a place that you wouldn't want to rent even if it was free. Since February, the owner started a massive renovation across the entire complex, breaking down walls, windows, stairs, balconies. The hammering starts at 8am and ends at 5pm. We are basically paying $3,700/month to live in a construction area. At some point our only door was boarded with a wooden panel and they destroyed our entrance and the only stairs. The worst thing is that the owner refuses to allow any type of remedies or rent reduction, they only offer us to move out early, but only if we let them know within 7 days (!?!). Needless to say, we are now taking this matter to court. Even when they are finished with the
