Locale Apartments

I had a great experience living at Locale. Julie and Osvaldo truly go above and beyond to make the community feel like home. Maintenance requests get addressed swiftly. The complex is quiet, clean and very well maintained. The layout is optimal and the amenities (mailroom, gym, jacuzzi, rooftop) are top tier. Every couple of months (generally on holidays) there are community events (e.g. pizza night, taco night, sushi night) where you get to meet the neighbors. Also love the location: a short walk from Caltrain (yet very well noise insulated) and downtown RWC (lots of restaurants). Overall, 10/10 would recommend!

My fiancée and I really enjoyed our time living at Locale Redwood City. The apartment building is well-maintained and always clean. Julie, the property manager, is very responsive, and any service orders were taken care of promptly. Osvaldo is especially quick and helpful! The location can’t be beat—everything downtown and the Caltrain station are within walking distance. We also loved the community events the complex hosts throughout the year, like sushi dinners and Cinco de Mayo ice cream socials. Overall, a great place to live!

My wife and I lived at the Locale Apartments for almost 2 1/2 years. This is hands-down the best managed building we’ve ever lived in live previously in Boston, New York and other parts of the Bay Area. Julie, Osvaldo, And the entire staff go above and beyond to keep common areas immaculate make sure there’s always great community events like sushi nights and taco nights and are Always pleasant and friendly. I cannot recommend this place high enough and the location being close to downtown Redwood City and one oh one also still being quiet at night is amazing. Another important note is the fact that the owners are not a large commercial business like buzzoto, When they built this place, they built it with care and that’s reflected in the craftsmanship of the kitchen. I moved from San Francisco to this apartment a few days ago, primarily to improve my work commute. After online screening (reading reviews and checking out the websites) of 10+ apartments in Millbrae, San Mateo and RWC, I finally narrowed down to and toured 2 apartments in RWC, Locale and the other one. I prefer Locale because 1) it feels very welcoming with the friendly management team, cozy amenities, and clean common area (it smells nice everywhere!) 2) the apartment comes with assigned parking spot with universal charging station (if requested), and there is a community gym a clubhouse, a BBQ area, and a jacuzzi 3) Proximity to RWC downtown and Caltrain station 4) Feels very safe 5) A community group chat for the residents. My stay at Locale apartments was the best in all my years of leasing apartments in US. Julie was so sweet and accomodating from day 1. She and Osvaldo make the community such a lovely place for all of us to call home. A huge thank you and shoutout to them :) Would highly recommend this community! Locale is also close by to everything one would need - caltrain, bus stop, freeway, restaurants etc.
