The Franklin at Hillsborough

We have moved here recently and so far, everything seems good. When we had some maintenance issues, they usually respond very quickly and send someone over to fix the issue very good and efficient. The building is regularly clean by property staff and they are very nice people. Over all a great place to be in, because it is very close to everything and if there is ever any issues they are quick to respond, thank you.

One of the first to move in here. Wonderful place out n out- quality built, quiet and exceptional connectivity. Issues are resolved swiftly, like the garbage truck noise in the early morning for D- block tenants. Only major downside from my experience was the high utility cost, electricity (heat/cold) specifically. Apt was inspected by PSEG cost/energy saving consultant, but monthly electricity bill had an average cost of 180-300$ depending upon the season for a family of 3. This cost was consistent for other units in the building. Initially, I thought it was the lack of central thermostats for each unit. However, I was advised that commercial rates were being applied to residents because the community was falling under Hillsborough shopping centre.

Called in the morning to check on a few items, and the person picking up the phone could not be bothered at 10:00 am on Christmas Eve because she was in the middle of preparing to host 20+ people for the holiday. Maybe don't link your personal phone number to the community's Google listing if you're not taking calls the morning before a major holiday, or have staff onsite to help, as most businesses are still open on Christmas Eve.

Nice and quiet between apartments, you don’t hear anyone through the walls and ceiling. Management were extremely quick and helpful when dealing with the garbage pickup situation. It was fixed within a week of our complaint. A safe and comfortable place to live!
