UPDATE: Unnecessary EV chargers being installed have destroyed this property for over a month already with zero info from anyone. There are gaping holes, mud pits, exposed wires and piles of concrete everywhere. Sidewalks are impassable and unusable for the summer which is awful for the kids and pets. Laundry facilities are surrounded by dangerous obstacles if you can actually get to them and we all have to walk across a plywood plank over a trench to refill our laundry card since there’s only one machine. There are elderly and disabled people living here and it is tremendously dangerous. Countless unanswered emails and not so much as an apology from staff or any mention of a completion date. My fiance and I called excitedly with interest in touring a unit. We are in the process of looking for our first apartment together, and thought Beekman sounded like a lovely place to rent and become our first home. My fiance called, and an old lady answered and laughed rudely on the phone when he told her we were planning to move in within the next year and a half.
