The Exchange Street Apartments

I’ve noticed that the more you read through these negative online reviews, that get left for places like this, the more you notice a pattern start to emerge. I believe that anyone who’s actually looking for real insight on what the day to day life is like here at 150 Exchange Street, would arrive at the same conclusion…..the vast majority of these negative reviews are being submitted by people who are in extremely stressful life events. Almost any review less than 3 stars would be in one of the following situations: 1. Applied for apartment and didn’t get approved and are upset. 2. Tenants are in the process of moving out/getting evicted and having a poor experience…..yeah I’d imagine that sucks but not sure why that’s on the complex. My husband and I lived here for 2 years and had a great experience. The management is really quick in taking actions and maintenance, during our stay we had to get our blinds and dishwasher changed and they were extremely quick with everything. The apartments are decent sized and the close proximity to train station and restaurants and grocery store make this place a great choice to live. The dog park is a dream for dog owners. Highly highly recommend.

I moved in August 2020 and intend to renew through August 2022. Love this place. The "bad attitude" reviews from 2-3 years ago are no longer relevant. All of the staff I have interacted with are very professional and courteous in my experience (specifically referring to Lisa and Clovis). The apartments themselves are modern, clean, and we'll maintained. Location alone makes these apartments worth the cost and then you factor in the gym, layout of the apartments, and efficiency (in terms of temperature control and on-demand hot water systems) and there's not much more I can think of asking for for a luxury apartment on a reasonably affordable budget, especially being literally a block away from Malden Center. I recently moved into a one bedroom apartment, the apartments are really nice a little pricy but in my opinion it is worth it. The staff are so nice they'll do everything they can to make you feel at home. The one downfall I've had and is why I rated 4 stars instead of 5 is there is a strong odor in the room I moved into its been about 2 weeks and unfortunately nothing was done about it yet, but the staff are doing everything they can to take care of the situation. but all in all I would recommend this place

This apartment is good and new. The management team is friendly and responsive. The facilities are fully equipped and easy to use. If I have to list one con, it is a little dirty and noisy living by the main road. Sometimes I need to clean the furniture and floor twice a week. Except for this, everything is pleasant and nice.
