The Edge at Greentree

If you don’t read the rest of this post, please at least look through the pictures. These pictures were taken of our apartment the day that we were supposed to move in. If these pictures alone are not enough to turn you away from renting from this horribly run, horribly maintained, borderline-scam of an apartment complex, then keep reading. Here is what happened. We were able to get one of the rare 3-bedroom apartments. We were ecstatic. We were moving from an hour north. It was me, my 7-months pregnant wife, and our almost-2-year-old. Twice before we moved in, I tried to walk through our apartment. Both times I was denied. They gave us a move-in date and we loaded everything we owned into a truck and came down. The experience from start to finish of starting my rental application, tour and to my actual move in day was nothing short of amazing. Leasing agent Shaony Torres really made my experience very easy with her professionalism. Not only was she professional she was very pleasant and helpful, and not to mention how fast she responds to the needs of the tenants. Absolutely awful experience. The property manager, Melissa, is completely unprofessional, disorganized, and unwilling to take accountability. From the very beginning, it’s been nothing but problems. I signed my lease with a move-in date of 12/12/25, only to be given the WRONG keys and locked out of my own unit for three full days. Instead of fixing the situation or apologizing, Melissa refused to prorate my rent and tried to shift the blame onto me. How is it acceptable to charge rent when a tenant cannot even access their unit due to management’s incompetence? Their outdated lease agreements and lack of organization are not my responsibility. Since Melissa took over as the new property manager, my experience at the community has completely turned around. She’s attentive, professional, and genuinely cares about the residents. Anytime I’ve had a question or concern, Melissa has responded quickly and made sure things were handled the right way. It’s such a relief to finally have a manager who is invested in the property and the people who live here. I’m truly grateful for the positive changes she’s already brought, and I’m looking forward to seeing the community continue to improve under her leadership. Highly recommend—thank you, Melissa! 🌟

This complex is conveniently located, and the apartments look nice. Horrible plumbing. If you move in here I strongly suggest you don’t live on the bottom floor. Bottom floor patio is super helpful to be able to go right outside with your dog, but you will have constant plumbing issues on the bottom floor. The plumbing here is a joke. There’s washers and dryers in every unit, which I guess is a recent addition. Such a luxury!! Well if you live on the bottom floor and someone above you is doing laundry, you will have soapy sewage back flowing into your apartment. This has been an ongoing issue in my unit for months. Even more complicated when my floor got badly flooded and roaches started coming to the moisture. Many neighbors have confirmed they had the same backflow issue. Regarding the
