The Canyons at Linda Vista Trail

The property itself is beautiful and well maintained. The office area was always clean and welcoming, and it was a nice touch to have snacks and coffee available during office hours. We required maintenance a few times and they were prompt. Unfortunately, the pool was under maintenance for about six weeks during our stay, so we weren’t able to use it at all. It did look very nice, though. The fitness area is quite small, which may be a consideration for some residents. There appeared to be turnover in the office while we were there, so it was sometimes difficult to get clear or confident answers to questions. Office is lacking professionalism. I had issues with rent cafe for payment, a company they use, and they stated basically there are other ways to pay. Yikes....not everyone pays with cash or cashier's check. Therefore, one star is appropriate.

I would give zero stars if I could. The management at this apartment complex is not only incredibly rude, but also completely unprofessional and untrustworthy. Before moving out, I requested two separate inspections to ensure everything was in order and that no further cleaning or work would be needed. Both times, management claimed they couldn’t do the inspection while I could be present, but assured me they would send me the results. No results were ever sent. When I followed up by phone, I was told everything looked fine and there was nothing else I needed to do. Fast forward a few months later, and I was suddenly charged for multiple cleanings. Property Manager Solara, is very rude to the staff and to potential renters. Other staff members are nice, but following up on applications and approvals lags here. They don’t always return calls. We went somewhere else.

Living here has been a great experience—clean, quiet, and well-maintained, with everything you’d want in an apartment community. But what really sets this place apart is the staff, especially Holly at the front desk. She’s always friendly, helpful, and incredibly on top of things. Honestly, if being helpful were an Olympic sport, Holly would have more gold medals than Michael Phelps. My dog Ziggy is also a big fan—plenty of space for walks, friendly neighbors, and zero complaints from him (and he’s usually a tough critic). Between the great service, peaceful environment, and pet-friendly vibe, this place feels like home—for both of us.
