If you don’t write down and take pictures of any possible smudge or defect in the property when you move in, they most certainly will when your lease is over and charge you to fix the previous tenants minor damages—no matter how small. I left the apartment impeccably clean. I even shampooed the carpets myself—all for nothing. I still got charged for another company to come in and shampoo it. Also, you will have to pay them money just to pay them money. Meaning, whether you pay electronically or by check, you will be charged an additional fee. I’ve lived here for about 8 years now, and I have to say this apartment community is truly one of the best—mainly because of the people who run it. The maintenance team Daniel and Francisco are absolutely amazing. Even though they are currently short-staffed and also helping at the sister property up the road, they still manage to go above and beyond. They are quick to respond, professional, and genuinely care about the residents. You can tell they take pride in their work, and it makes a huge difference. The office staff is just as wonderful. The ladies are always welcoming, kind, and willing to help with any question or concern, big or small. With the new property manager Sarah on board, you can already see positive changes happening around the community. She’s approachable, attentive,

Ever since Sarah took over the property management position, living here has become extremely uncomfortable. Sarah has to be the worst human I have ever known. Her lack of respect and compassion is beyond comprehension. Sarah should not be representing a living community. She should be a prison warden instead. Sarah has ran off dedicated employees that should have had her position and she has also ran off longtime residents that have lived in the complex for years. Don’t move to this complex if you want compassion smiles and reliability from the property manager.

Sara was very good at explaining all of the details of getting a lease at orovista apts. While we did run into some difficulties Sara was able to help us with getting approved. I also want to thank Miriam who walked me through the very difficult application process. All in we are happy to now be residents at orovista apts. Fei Yang Couple of issues after getting into the apt. Toilet in hallway bathroom doesn't flush. Tried plunging but it seems there is something blocking it The garbage disposal in the kitchen sink doesn't work. Seems someone put glass down the drain.. The refrigerator is missing two glass shelves at the bottom.. Bird poop is all over the sidewalk entrance Stovetop is scratched or discolored.

I decided not to renew my lease, and moved out within the allowable time frame. When asked for my security deposit back, all of a sudden I get a bill. Which is crazy because when final walkthrough was done I was inform by Lead apartment manager Mariam stated “ We will not be charging you for any additional fees “. But yet here’s a crazy bill. DO NOT RENT HERE… For the price of this apartment you can get a whole house with your own pool. Very disappointed as this was my 1st apartment since moving out to Tucson. They handled this situation very poorly. The communication is dishonest.
