The Brookliner

This apartment building is advertised as a non-smoking property, but in reality there is little to no enforcement of this policy. Residents frequently smoke, sometimes late into the night, and the smell travels into other units. Considering the high rental fees, the living environment does not meet expectations.

Dylan gave me a wonderful tour of the building! The Brookliner is so well kept and has great amenity spaces. Angelica was also very helpful in answering my questions about the neighborhood and the application process. One of the best buildings I have toured during my search.

I had an appointment to tour, but when I arrived they said the tenant was home and refused access to the tour. But the common areas and neighborhood were not all that impressive for the asking price. Also, what's up with naming a building the Brookliner when the property is not even in Brookline? I come to find out it is Brighton, but on the website address they call it Boston because they really don't want people knowing the real address is Brighton. This is a total bait and switch and if management would do that, there's no telling what else is wrong with this building.

What’s not to like about living in a smart new apartment close to some of the best amenities Washington Square has to offer. A stones throw from Wholefoods, even closer to CVS and there’s no shortage of decent eateries if you don’t fancy rustling something up in your flash new kitchen. Special mention should go to Kristin and Angelica who have an open door policy and are always on hand in the welcoming reception area to make sure you get settled. We’ve been here around three months and have met a number of likeminded happy residents. It’s a great place to live and call home.

I have had such amazing interactions with Jessie, the resident manager. Even though I could not move in to the Brookliner due to personal reasons, I really appreciate all the support Jessie has given me throughout the leasing process. The community is welcoming, clean, and very organized. I toured it couple of times already and I loved every single visit to be very honest. Genuinely hope I get to join this community in the near future!
