Suncrest Apartments

This place has really gone down hill in the 5.5 yrs I've lived here. It is drug infested and a constant flow of squatters. Management is useless, she locks the doors so you can't talk to her., and they have no intention of cleaning it up obviously. They just charge the rent paying tenants for fees and crap to make up for it.

I've had a very good experience here at Suncrest. The management has always come through for me whenever I have had an issue. They have always treated me with respect and not like someone they were doing a favor for. I feel very comfortable here. I just renewed my lease (I've done that many times now!). The rental price is agreeable and the radiant heat in my apartment has saved me a lot in heating bills. I'm very centrally located: kid goes to school a few blocks away and I go to school at the local college (approx. 3.1 miles from Suncrest), There's a store on the corner and lucky for me, my bank just moved to the opposite corner. I can walk to just about anything from here. I love the two block walk to farmers market on Wednesdays.

I would be very careful renting from this place. We have gone through 3 different managers this year alone. The first one wouldn't address anything in a timely manner because she said she was too busy managing three different buildings. The second one talked a lot about fixing things up but she wasn't around long enough to do much. This month, the new manager gave all of us who hadn't paid rent by the 2nd a 14 day notice to vacate. I went to put my check in and the office was empty. So, I left it in the dropbox. Today, I received another 14 day notice. No one has been in the office to collect rent checks, despite us being given a letter clearly stating that we're supposed to pay at the office. We also all received "second notices" about children playing despite not receiving a firs

Seen a lot of rotten pumpkin's, some on benches by the trash cans, and 1 on the top railing by the staircase. I was surprised to see all the bikes and stuff all over the walkways, and under and next to the stairs and building's. I knew people that lived there in 2011, and no one was allowed to have stuff outside like that, it had to be on their back patios neatly. The some apartment's had Halloween decorations still hanging in them, that wasn't allowed, more then 1 week after the holiday was over. I was wondering if someone else owns the property now, because the owner was really hard on the residents that lived there.

I wouldn't rent from this place again. Have a leak in my bathroom for 3 months from the vent and at my windows and front door frame. Mold!!!!! now in corner of wall and around door frame. Told them many times to fix but gave me the run around getting roofers to do it, getting bids. Not a rush for them, just sucks,when you get dripped on after a good warm shower, and using the toilet dripping on your legs. The rugs wet everyday and i got 3 kids that hate it also, so i would not advise this place.
