Stoneridge Apartments

I’ve been here 3 years and there’s been ups and downs but that’s mainly with some of the tenants that were here. I honestly love living here I only have minor issues the water needs a softener (but it’s mot fault of the apartments) and they need to upgrade the buildings they’re a little aged that’s normal to me though not necessarily a huge issue, and the pool has not been open for the past two summers. They have a learning center open to the tenants where the children can go do homework, access to snacks, and just somewhere for them to hangout safely. They also have a food pantry when available which I feel is amazing because times are difficult for everyone right now so every little bit helps. We have been in the apartment for 6 months. The roach infestation is the worst I have ever experienced, I’m killing 50-100 roaches a day. We don’t even eat here. I don’t feel comfortable unpacking. I’m literally buying a storage unit so I can sanitize and move my things out. Our oven hasn’t worked, the guest bathtub was broken for 6 months and the master toilet wasn’t working. It doesn’t matter row many traps or gadgets you use the roaches are everywhere. The previous tenant must have been a smoker because the walls drip with yellow stains and the apartment wreaks of ashtray. It sticks to our clothes and it’s absolutely disgusting. The staff in the office are nice but nothing seems to get done. Moving in here was the worst mistake of my life. I feel guilty for moving my child in here.

UPDATE: 11/11/25: STILL a TON of garbage from the tenants of the apartment complex being thrown over the fence. Looks like the city has attempted to clean some underbrush near the walking trail, but there's eben more trash being thrown over fence belonging to apartment!!! Trashy complex. Visited Jan 25 and could not believe how bad the trash issue was! Even worse was the unbelievable amount of garbage they the tenants throw over the fence on the north side, which is amazingly close to the walking trails along a beautiful creek! The management should be ashamed, and the people who feel so comfortable throwing their trash out there are pathetic and lazy and should be held accountable.

I just want to say thank you to the management at Windy Ridge. God truly places the right people in our path, and she has been one of those blessings. She has been so understanding, always keeping her door open and her heart open to listen. When I was sick and couldn’t pay, she didn’t turn me away — she gave me resources and support. I’m grateful because no other place I have lived has ever shown this kind of compassion during hardship. May God continue to bless her and everyone at Windy Ridge for the grace and kindness they show. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
