Southwood Apartments

Very nice and clean space, property manager made sure the floors, lighting, carpet were all resonated or just replaced. As well as the washing machine being replaced with a new one. For someone moving into their first apartment this was a great and eye opening experience. All thanks to Kylie for making all that happen!!!!!

Southwood Apartments was a surprise to find in this town. The location of the complex allows swift access to the city for errands, groceries, gyms, etc. I enjoy the 2 bed/2 bath apartment I live in. Spacious kitchen, new carpeting, and generous bathroom/bathroom/closet sizing. The garage is spacious, and fits two medium sized vehicles with ease. In-apartment laundry is also a welcome amenity. The team who manages the buildings is swift to respond, correct, and check in with any request, complaint, or question. I have never had a bad experience working with them, and I'm confident in their abilities and manner. The one complaint, as seen in other reviews, is lack of cameras on the entrances and mailroom. However, I have had no issues, and neighbors have even dropped my packages at my apar

Lived here since 2016 and has been the best place clean inside and outside the building. Apartments are spacious even the 1 bedrooms I have seen. The noise level is pretty decent with their being alot of people living here. Whitney has been by far the best resident manager I have ever dealt with concerns are always addressed promptly and shes very friendly to talk to. Overall have been happy living here all these years.

I had a good experience while living there, but upon move out they charged me $1,300. I was appalled. I've lived in numerous apartments and while never expecting to get all of my deposit back have, I have never been swindled for that much money. The apartment was left in good enough shape, I had not had enough time to deep clean, so I expected a cleaning fee as well as a fee for replacement of the carpet due to animals and living there for a few years already. I had explained this ahead of time and was assured that it needed to be replaced already and wouldn't be that expensive since it was due for a change already. Just be cautious, IMM likes to milk you of any money they can while being dishonest about it.

We have have had no major complaints with the Southwood Apartments or IMM. Our complex is very very quiet. I feel reasonably secure here with small children. There was a fight outside by some college aged kids one day, but they all took off and nothing else like that has happened since. I do wish they had security cameras for peace of mind and because we have had a package that went missing. Actually, I just assumed they would have cameras and maybe would have chosen somewhere else if I had known they didn't. Maintenance issues have all been dealt very quickly by non creepy, very friendly workers. Our 3 bedroom apartment is very spacious and family friendly. There are a lot of large closets. The garages house one large vehicle with a lot of room for storage or two smaller vehicles.
