We recently experienced a few maintenance issues and were initially a little unhappy with the results of the first visit. However, Shenatia Pender, the Resident Service Coordinator, was incredibly helpful, attentive, and understanding throughout the process. She promptly arranged for a second maintenance crew to come out and complete the job. The second visit went much better, and we were very pleased with the results. On their way out, the maintenance team even fixed an additional issue we hadn’t mentioned, truly going above and beyond. We really appreciate the support and responsiveness, and we’re looking forward to renewing our lease this spring!
I’m not usually one to write reviews, but after my recent maintenance experience, I felt compelled to share. I submitted a ticket and later followed up on the status. I was informed that Shena would be the point of contact, and she truly delivered. Shena’s customer service was exactly what you would expect from someone in management. I’ve never had an experience that made me want to write a review before, but her professionalism and dedication stood out. She takes great pride in serving the tenants here at Skylark. Thank you, Shena, for your assistance and support in resolving my maintenance issue.
After 20+ years of renting, I've finally encountered a team that stands out. I rarely leave reviews, but I want to highlight the outstanding support at this property. Shena, the Resident Service Coordinator, has handled every service request promptly, professionally, and with great care. She follows up regularly, keeps residents informed, and goes above and beyond. Two notable examples: When repairs made my second bedroom unusable, I requested a rental credit and Shena got it approved. Another time, a neighbor upstairs dumped a mixture of cleaning supplies and dirty water onto my patio, which my dog uses. Shena contacted the neighbor and offered to have it cleaned, then personally came on a hot day and manually cleaned the patio herself—something I never expected. The patio was spotless a
Shenatia Resident Service Coordinator was fantastic to work with during the replacement of my washer/dryer. From January through installation, she consistently kept me updated through any delivery delays and weather issues. Her proactive communication, professionalism and responsiveness are truly appreciated. Working with her made the process relatively stress-free.
NEGATIVE 5 STARS IF I COULD I live in a 1 bedroom here and have had nothing but issues since I moved in. The management here is awful and hard to contact. Chris the property manager has an history of ignoring my emails as well as the previous manager. I have also needed to email the regional manager because it takes forever for answers. The maintenance workers are friendly when they are sent out but its incredibly difficult to have repairs fixed. It took management an ENTIRE month mid summer in 2024 to get my AC running. Literally 30 days. The community is also a disaster as trash pick up isn't timely and piles up / blows around. Stuck with over $200 monthly BGE bills because management neglected my HVAC issues.
