Shaker Glen Village

I'm writing because I don't know what else to do. I moved in June, and my only concern before moving was whether the building usually has problems with rats in the winter. Before moving into this apartment, I asked the real estate agent, and he said no one had complained. I also researched reviews online, and there were no Google reviews about it. Anyway, I decided to move in. Everything was fine in the summer, no insects, but now in the winter I'm living a nightmare. We've seen rats about four times already. I can't sleep; I'm terrified and panicked inside my house. I've already complained to the building management, and they sent the maintenance guy. He sealed some gaps in the heating system with foam and set traps, but none were caught, and they keep appearing. A pest control company ca

I’m writing this on behalf of the whole Shaker Glen Village and my family, please we need sanitary conditions on this environment. There are so many mouse and rats in here. It’s so bad that they meet inside my own house. I have a baby I have a family. My wife couldn’t take a shower to go to work and my child couldn’t take a shower to go to school. I mean, you guys have a plenty enough funds to have at least the courtesy to take care of the property in time and do things in advance so that we don’t have these problems and this is a tenant right and also a state litigation! I was not happy. I’m not happy and unfortunately you guys not make anybody happy at this point ! Do your diligence ,management ,property owners and helpers . This at list … we pay to be in this Place … It’s not Free at A

Can't say much about the actual apartments because getting a tour is, evidently, too much to ask. Scheduled a tour online, had it confirmed via email, but was given no information about where to meet for the tour (no office onsite). Was given a number to call when "10 minutes away". I called this number and was told to park behind the building, and someone would be on the lookout for me. Again, this was a CONFIRMED tour. Needless to say, I did not see the apartment and now have no interest in doing so. No call back or additional contact via email, either.

Apt 11B3 Do not live here. It came back and worse. Plus i didn’t hear the fire alarm on September 7 2024 which is a huge nightmare. I know most ppl don’t care but some might be bothered by the fact that you can’t hear fire alarm in units only hallways. Plus it didn’t contact the fire dept. just some girl calling the fire dept in building 11. And also if you’re expecting a pool…you will be invited to Tudor Glen to use that pool. This one is rarely operational. And one washing machine per unit will often be filled with gross water. Gross swamp water

Our apartment is in the back and faces the wetlands. It is lovely to look out of the windows and see trees. The maintenance men are diligent and competent so I don't know what the other reviews are talking about. NO BED BUGS! Very clean and modern appliances. I love the granite counters and large bathroom with a marble floor in the one bedroom apartments. There are only two things that I am not happy with. One is it is overpriced due to the market and the other is that you can only have two guests at the pool. I think, however, if I called the office and told them my family was coming they would make an exception. Living in a smaller complex is also a plus. Only four apartments to a floor and only three floors. Loads of parking in the back. I didn't give it five stars due to the price e
