If you enjoy paying over $2,500 a month for the “luxury” experience such as chasing down management for basic responses plus a plethora of other issues, this place is for you! The “amenities” include: -A mystery office schedule (are they in? are they not? who knows!) -No responses from management even if you email them directly (crickets) -A scavenger hunt of dog poop around the property, this also includes dog defecation at your front door! (since no one picks up after their pets and management does nothing to address this issue) -A fob access package room that somehow still functions as a community giveaway box (my packages have been stolen twice in the last couple of months) -And surprise! a whopping $300/mth electric bill for an apartment under 1,000 sq ft (apparently insulation is opt
**EDIT. I see people talk about the dog poop. It's from tenants who don't pick up after their pets, BUT the maintenance men go out at least twice a day to pick up after other people. AND the walls are definitely NOT thin, I have families with kids living on both sides of me and I NEVER hear them. And you need a fob to get into the trash. I've never seen anyone rummaging around in the trash, they can't get in.**. Absolutely love living here. I've been here for about a year & a half and couldn't imagine living anywhere else. The apartments are gorgeous, the grounds are kept immaculate. The maintenance men are fantastic and Kari in the office is the best! I would give 10 stars if I could. There's so much around here that you really don't need a vehicle. And I can almost see the Milwaukie
We have been renting a 3 bedroom since the spring and we are very happy with our apartment. We have found all the staff, from the office to maintenance, to be very professional and helpful. Also, because I stay up very late, I regularly see private security cars making their rounds on the grounds. I initially gave 7 Acres five stars, but decided to eliminate one star because the car and pedestrian gates are not always locked, especially at night. This added security was a primary reason we chose this apartment complex.
I lived there for almost 3 years. The way the property management company handled issues severely fell off about a year ago. Gates in and out of the property are constantly broken. People going through the recycle and glass bins during the night. Had a package stolen from the mail room and was told they would look at the cameras. I sent two follow-up emails with no response. Upon moving out I was given back my full deposit and told all repairs were normal wear and tear then was charged $104 for carpet cleaning. The only carpet in my apartment was in the bedroom. Parking is also an issue, no place to park while picking up mail/packages and not enough parking for the residents.
I would not recommend this apartment complex. The management has been dishonest and unfair when it comes to charges, and I feel that I’ve been overcharged without proper explanation. The leasing office staff, especially the lady who handles the office, is unprofessional and does not treat residents with respect. Instead of being helpful, the office often comes across as dismissive and untrustworthy. It’s very disappointing to deal with discrimination and a lack of professionalism in a place where residents are supposed to feel at home. If you are considering moving here, I strongly suggest looking into other options where transparency and respect for tenants are a priority.
