My experience with Schumacher Homes of Asheville was a solid five-star journey, and so much of that is thanks to the incredible team. I wont lie, there were times of confusion and times of frustration and changes happened throughout the whole process. I have learned there are things I would do a little different next time (yes, I would easily build with them again). But what I will say is that the whole team was there to service me and my family. From the very start, Stacy was amazing with the design process, helping bring our rough vision to life. We cannot say enough about Schumacher homes. We had our new home built from 700 miles away. The communication was excellent. The builder Matt Harper was in constant contact with us. Giving us weekly updates and his professional recommendations as the project progressed. Matt did a fantastic job. He left no stone unturned. His recommendations were spot on. The house wasn't move-in ready when we did the final walk through. Then again, we didn't expect that our house would be built in such a timely fashion. The building started in mid December and was completed by the end of March. We had assumed it would be completed sometime in July, so there was no panic with a few unfinished bits and pieces, that we have total faith will be finished on the punch list. We have been looking to build for a while and have talked to a few companies but nothing compares to Schumacher's. We are just amazed at their professional, thorough, kind and responsive service. Like no others!!! Their homes are of the utmost quality and a lot of layouts to choose from. Also a lot of beautiful high quality options for products and materials inside and out. Out of all the places we have been we have not had someone sit down with us and take their time like Jocelyn at Schumacher's in Asheville. In fact we are so satisfied and at peace with our decision here that we are signing a commitment with them and recommend them very highly to others.

Schumacher built us a beautiful home on Lake James and our project manager, Matt Harper, did a fabulous job. Matt is professional, knowledgeable and did a great job communicating with us during the build. There’s always surprises when building but Matt and the team at Schumacher kept us on schedule and on budget. I highly recommend Matt Harper and Schumacher Homes of Ashville.

Since we moved into our new Brevard million-dollar home 18 months ago, which was built by Schumacher Homes of Asheville, we have had nothing but problems with our floors. Schumacher has done a very good job of closing all kinds of warranty issues, but our floors are an embarrassment, and we have not had any guests or neighbors over to show off our beautiful home as it is very embarrassing. Every day our shower floor squeaks, and the kitchen, living room, laundry, and 70% of our home squeak. Schumacher has spent many hours trying to resolve this, but now they claim it is not part of their warranty program and refuse to fix this horrible construction/structural issue.
