Salem Wood Apartments

The Apartment is really nice and clean, the maintenance crew are awesome 👌 and so helpful. Most of the neighbors are really cool, (most) not all. Some of the staff in the office are really nice that I have met with, especially Dekota, he's a great addition to the team as well as Samantha. But there are those few ladies ( won't mention names) that have absolutely no business working with tenants. These specific people have no mannerism, are rude, and they don't pay our rent, and don't have any idea how to handle certain situations on the grounds. It's really a shame that in only 3 months I've seen so many people move in and out for this reason. 😕

Don’t bother moving in here. The walls and ceilings are paper thin and you can hear everything. I had to listen to my neighbors above me walk on my squeaking/crunching ceilings for months. I had water coming in my unit patio door during rains and mold spores everywhere after I did a test. Many things were broken when I moved in and it was freezing cold. I needed three extra heaters to stay comfortable. The mulch they put around the buildings smell like poop and the breezeway also smells because of it. Go look for somewhere better maintained. I moved out after only 6 months into a property I purchased.

Our experience at Salem woods apartments has been nothing short of amazing!! No matter what obstacles have arisen we are satisfied! God blessed us with this new beginning and Jenna Suzanne and Cheryl have made this experience a breeze. I highly recommend making Salem woods your new home ! Maintenance is also great they are quick friendly and professional. The upkeep on the grounds is also amazing. It’s quiet and comfy the list could go on.

My name is Angela Mason. I live with M. S. and have anxiety issues. That can make tours a bit complicated. Today..I toured Salem Woods ..September 24th 2025... with Jenna. Jenna made me feel completely comfortable and safe. I want to let the world know how professional and sweet Jenna is. She was so kind that I could have talked to her for hours. It was like knowing a friend for years. :) I also want the world to know that the landscape and grounds at Salem Woods are absolutely 💯 beautiful. .. The deer 🦌 seem to love the place. They roam freely. If you love nature and peace...this is the place for you. They also have newly renovated apartments. Dear Salem Woods staff.. No matter which place I choose to call my new home.. I want you ALL to have a blessed day...year.. Life..

Don't waste your time moving here. I was shown a nice apartment on my tour, but when I moved in there was water damage in the kitchen and bathroom, it wasn't cleaned prior to arrival, there was grime and scraps everywhere, and there were several other issues requiring maintenance after I moved in. It really showed me the neglect and disregard this complex has for the apartments. I also find it to be a struggle getting in touch with the leasing office, they either are never at the office or won't answer your calls. This is the worst apartment I've ever rented and don't recommend anyone coming here.
