Very professional office staff. Was able to tour a 2 bedroom with/ without fireplace. Unit for being “updated” had a lot of cosmetic flaws that I most likely wouldn’t overlook. Counters were cracked and many nicks on cabinets and paint splashed on it. Carpets had many stains that looked permanent. Old trims just painted over. For an updated price it was kind of disappointing. Not the worst I’ve seen but I’m definitely keeping my options open. In-unit laundry and private entrance was a very nice factor. Amenities were spot on and seem very useful. It’s worth a look but just know what you’re getting yourself into before signing anything or putting money down.

I lived at Royal Oaks for two years. Upon getting my keys, I notified the property manager (who has since been replaced) that the door to my unit was broken and would not lock, and asked for them to fix it within a week, as I would not be moving in yet- when I came to move in a week later, it still was broken. I had to stay alone for several nights with a broken door/lock despite asking ahead of time for the unsafe situation to be resolved. Even after the door was fixed there was a large gap at the top of the door which let air in. I never was late on a payment, never had any complaints against me. The sidewalks were rarely shoveled, but if they were, they ALWAYS stopped at my door, left a pile of snow for me to trip over, and did NOT continue onward to shovel the path or stairs to my par

This was one of the worst rental experiences I’ve had. The office and maintenance were completely unreliable, and Kayla was especially terrible to deal with — dismissive, unhelpful, and never willing to take responsibility for anything. For weeks at a time, my AC didn’t work, and getting anyone to fix it felt impossible. When I moved out, they took $242.50 from my security deposit with zero explanation, and I had to track them down just to figure out why. Snow removal was another disaster. Walkways and parking areas were left unsafe and untouched after storms, and management acted like it wasn’t their problem. Overall, this place is run with no accountability, no transparency, and no respect for tenants. I strongly recommend avoiding this property.

Drive the entire complex before you sign a lease. Look at the rotting unpainted staircases, look at the siding falling off the buildings, look at the open garage doors letting in animals, the dog poop on every lawn. Sort recent reviews. I would like tell the tales of the constant failures by management from their own words such as the nasty email about banning sidewalk chalk, while they don't shovel the sidewalks, and even had the audacity to put empty buckets and say salt the sidewalks yourself, that is my personal favorite the A/C debacle is addressed in other reviews. I cantttt wait till my lease ends bc they are the worst apartments i ever been into in my life worst service worst everything…. I have requested 2 work orders it’s been a month and i call them they say that they will call me back and they never cared it’s badddddddd ++++ if i wanna talk about what they did with me since i have lived here ??? Im not gonna finish!!!! Terrible terrible terrible
