Oak Brook Gardens

I have lived at Oakbrook Gardens for eight years now. I read some reviews and totally disagree with a lot of what was posted, as far as Maintenance Noah and his team are fantastic as far as I am concerned, they address all of our issues in a very reasonable time always professional sweethearts. The buildings are older so you are gonna have certain issues due to age.. They fixed it with in an day.. Over the years things are going to break down, but they were always addressed by Noah in his team. As far as the office some of the stuff I'm reading is very old. I have no issues with anybody in the office. They're always sweet and professional and see to my needs. My apartment is cute. Too expensive for what they offer, and they offer absolutely nothing except the basics, a roof over your head. Dirty hallways, windows, entrance. Entrance open overnight, noise and clamor. The laundry room is not hygienically designed and maintained at all, do not wash your clothes in that laundry room if you want to be healthy. They never fix anything or want to fix it because it costs money, but they raise the rent every year. Surveillance camera only in the building where the leasing office is. Didn't fill safe that all .

The community is well safe and is kept up The calculated proximity is well best it should

All is very cool but only really bad soundproofing walls you can almost hear everything from every floor from top to bottom

Not what I first moved into 13 years ago. The management doesn't take care of the important things for the residents, like RESIDENT SAFETY. The smoke detectors haven't been checked in several years,5+ The maintenance is less then average. Usually someone young and inexperienced. Raccoons living in garages above cars. Outdoor lighting isn't a priority for safety on this complex, not even for the elderly that live here. But yet after all this OAKBROOK GARDEN APARTMENT'S raises the rent 50$ a yr on average. Very dissatisfied resident. I do not recommend to anyone until owner changes the way the current leasing office personal is running this place
