River Park by Broadmoor

I have nothing but good things to say about River Park and Broadmoor. I lived at RP for two years and came from a horrible apartment downtown. The difference was day and night. The entire staff is friendly and cooperative. Maintenance requests are always handled the same day by the friendliest guys, and they help in ways that are not even technically their job. Anytime I an issue it was handled with the utmost priority. They were always super friendly to my dog, and my neighbors were also great. The only reason I moved is because I PCS’d with the military, but I miss my apartment everyday. Anybody who’s considering these apartments should definitely sign a lease asap! You won’t regret it.

Nothing but good things to share about management ! Liz is amazing and so organized, she even remembered my name and I was only there for a year. Maintenance is quick, never had issues with neighbors and everything was kept clean . The only thing to keep as eye out for is the golfers, golf balls did Shatter 2 out of the 3 car windows we had. Always park behind the building!

River Park is a fantastic place to live! The office staff is always friendly and so responsive and the maintenance and grounds staff is also amazing! They just installed new windows in my apartment and they are beautiful! So thankful for everyone who makes this such a great place to call home!

Me and my partner moved here a few weeks ago and I already cannot recommend it enough! From the start, everyone we spoke to was so kind, answered all of our questions, and walked us through everything. They made us feel welcomed and like we were already at home. Our experience with maintenance has been amazing as well. They came in with a smile on their face and fixed everything perfectly and quickly! We love it here!

The move-out process left a sour note on what had been a generally positive experience. After vacating my unit, I received an inspection report in the mail that included a $107 charge for “carpet stain removal”—despite there being no stain while I lived there. I was unable to attend the inspection in person, and when I followed up to inquire about the charge, I wasn’t given any evidence of a stain. I was simply told there was one “in the living room.” Adding to the frustration, this notice conveniently arrived exactly 30 days after my lease ended—the maximum window allowed by Iowa’s Landlord-Tenant statute to return a security deposit or provide a written justification for withholding it. It’s disappointing to see questionable business practices taint the final chapter of an otherwise so
