Immediately refused to close a property we were purchasing, stating it was a 3rd party assignment contract, when it was NOT, and it was a standard purchase contract directly between us and the seller. There was no third party ever involved, nor was there an assignment contract. When attempting to explain this to the attorney, even though he should know, he tried to point out a stipulation within our contract which allows us the RIGHT to assign the contract IF we wanted to. Even after explaining that we WERE NOT assigning the contract, and the stipulation plays no part in this transaction, he got frustrated and just said "we are not closing this, you can find someone else."
