Rainier Apartments

I have lived there for 8 months and have no problems. I have worked with Sarah with some banking issues and they have been very understanding and worked with me. The ladies in the office and maintence and been on top of the requests when I sent in requests. When I call and let them know about the dumpster being over loaded then send someone over and take care of it right away. For living close to a university and being a college town these apartments are very quiet. I do think the laundry room does need a little TLC. Only reason i moved is because I couldnt find work in this community for my field of work. If I had my choice I would have stayed here longer though. I have no other complaints. But Lauren and Sarah are the two ladies to deal with if you need to get stuff done. Way to go Ladie

Living here for a year now and this complex is nothing but disappointing. Maintenance requests take forever to be resolved, the property is not maintained which is apparent once it gets dark and only a handful of exterior lights come on, the pathways are not cleaned of snow nor is there any sand or ice melt put down which is 100% their responsibility. The laundry room is a joke with aging machines that don’t clean anything so I’ve resorted going to the laundromat across town if I actually want clean clothes. There is only a single dumpster for the 18 building complex that gets overfilled regularly and maybe dumped once during a normal week and once in two weeks if there is a holiday which shows from the picture posted. Our apartment was fine. Though getting anything fixed would take more time than i would have liked. They could improve in appliance inspections and upkeep. Our fridge was broken and missing shelves when we moved in (October) and they didn’t do anything about it until March. While holding my new baby the door of our dishwasher broke and smashed my foot, took 2 months to get fixed and 3 months for my foot to stop aching. The heat in the main area of our apartment broke when it was below freezing, since we had a new baby I wanted it addressed quickly and the girl I talked to in the office brushed me off and said no one was available for 6 days and that my baby and I would be okay if we hung out in a bedroom. Expensive for what it is 😭 the whole complex has to share two washer and dryers because they’re all broken! We sent in a request and a complaint and we were told that WE have to call the company to get the washer and dryers fixed for a shared laundry unit… idk, it feels like this is something they should take care of, not us.

Place is nice, and doesn’t have mold or anything so it’s nice. I’ve been living here for over a year and it’s been good. Garbage gets over filled like every other week and the maintenance takes forever to respond but recently they’ve start a new thing where you can text a rep. And they’ll respond which is nice since getting ahold of people at PTLA management is hard. Overall it’s better than on the streets.
