PTLA Property Management

My experience at PTLA has been excellent so far. I have been a tenant for over 5 years in Contra Costa county, CA and have lived at 3 of their properties as they have allowed me to transfer and upgraded to luxury accommodations. Maria Lacayo has been a dream property manager as she is responsive, kind and compassionate. She is the absolute BEST! She is most definitely an asset to PTLA. When I have any issue or concern, she handles it. I am a loyal customer of PTLA and it has been a pleasure to do business with them.

Sandra has been very helpful, communicative and even assisted me in getting my car fixed when I received water damage from a leak. Overall great experience with Sandra, Tyler who was supposed to be our first point of contact has not responded to a single one of my messages. I even called the office one time they said that he was in, and he didn’t even answer.

Tyler has been awesome- he was working with me to find a 1 bedroom. However I voiced my concerns about Bart accessibility - being a reason I’ll look for something more convenient to my needs. He had no problem connecting me with his colleague Regina, who manages a property that fit my needs.

I am a fairly new tenant moved into a unit about 5 months ago and although I have had 1-2 issues PTLA has done an amazing job with the maintenance thats been needed. They have the right people with the right attitude helping out throughout every process. Very professional and very friendly. I have had recent work in my unit and they have responded quickly and the work got done pretty fast too. I am more than satisfied with the work provided. Even when applying they were very helpful. As well, the manager at the office is kind and caring. Even the girl at the help desk is super nice. I only had one negative experience with one of their agents there but I think everything else makes up for it honestly.

We’ve been renting from CWP (now PTLA) for 13 years. Our point of contact has always been Nicole Williamson and she has consistently been a kind, responsive, and dedicated. Over the years, we’ve dealt with some ongoing flooding issues in the unit, which have been challenging — but it’s important to note that these issues were out of Nicole’s control and related to the owner’s decisions. Despite it being difficult to get permission for repairs or replacements for some things, Nicole has always done her best to act on our behalf and insist that the repairs be done. She is a good communicator, follows up right away, and genuinely cares about the comfort and safety of her tenants.
