Whoever works at the office has a serious attitude and tries to sound more important than she is. The company makes up procedures that make no sense and is completely unfair. The buildings are completely run down and have so many fire violations that they would be out of business if there was an inspection. The landlord is cheap and will never put a dime into upgrading the building/ apts. There are bikes hanging on every staircase railing, the door to the roof jams and is sometimes locked, and the front door is always open because kids break the window to get in. These are just a few problems. Enjoy.

I wish I could give negative stars … this is by far the very worst management company I’ve ever had the displeasure of dealing with. It’s a literal ironic joke that their name is “proactive” because they are anything but. From the very first day moving in the when no communication was given to us about basic things like the super’s information .. they informed me there was no super for our building when in fact there is! So they don’t even know who’s working in their buildings. I called them to fix things that they never followed through on and now we are dealing with leaving - they are the worst. A man named “Michael” was exceptionally rude and incompetent- he was rude to me for calling to ask for them to fix a problem (which is their job) and when I asked for an email address he wouldn’t

If I could give negative stars as a rating, I would. As someone who has been involved in management and real estate for a long time, believe me when I say that this management company is by far the WORST company I have ever had the displeasure of working with. They are the rudest, most self righteous company I've dealt with in my experience. I have been residing in one of the properties under their control for a long time, before they even took over, and they refuse to speak to me, the only thing they will say, especially Michael, is something obnoxious. The Landlord is pretty bad too, just tells me to call the management company..which is sadly almost laughable. This place is crazy. The receptionist are nasty to the clients. My apartment currently has mole, i have requested for management to fix this issue and all they did was send over the super to paint over it, making it 10 times worst that what already is. My wife is currently pregnant and yet they are not taking the mole issue seriously. p.s don't rent here, the building is infested with bed bugs.

This is one of greatest money hungry businesses in NYC. Doing business with them is as pleasant as ramming a coat hanger down your pee hole. But you don't have to ram it- they'll ram it for you. They only care about taking your money- so when they force fu*k money out of you, you don't have to feel embarrassed that you cry in the shower, because they have already left. Definitely do business with these people- they are exactly who you want to give money to.
