We've rented an apartment in the city from Don for three years, and he's been a great landlord. Very quick to respond to any issues. The plumber was always scheduled within 24 hours, and other minor issues were fixed in a day or two. When we found that our stove leaked gas from previous tenants, he had the entire thing replaced immediately, not just the broken pipe. He's always been flexible to work with our schedules when he needed to come in to check smoke detectors and redo the back decks as well. Overall, very pleasant experience renting from him. He can be a little stiff on a couple of issues, but I understand where he's coming from. We definitely prefer renting from people like Don to the big management companies.

I've been renting from Don Pappas for 2 years now and I'm crossing my fingers to continue in a larger place. Don has been very approachable and always gets back to me very quickly. Any problems that my fiancee and I encountered were quickly solved, which is much more than I can say for other landlords I've had. Rent was reasonable and it wasn't increased in our second year in the same apartment. I can't say enough about how pleasant the experience has been these past two years. Thanks Pappas Realty!

Immature, unprofessional behaviors and shrewd practices, and even more so, no empathy whatsoever... Don't ever dare again be callous towards a disabled person and disrespect a client and their family for a quick sale. These negative reviews from others here really do speak the truth... My partner and I recently spent the past year at 1003 W Lancaster and did not find it easy to work with this landlord (and cousin of the realtor). He refused to reimburse for when the AC was out for a week in August and then blatantly lied and said we did not clean enough (the floors were waxed, polished, every inch of the space had been touched by a clorox wipe) to scam us out of our initial deposit. Overall he's just an old guy trying to make a quick buck off of the next young individual (SCAMMERS). I recommend looking for an apartment complex where there is regulation and oversight for these reportings and landlords.

Don is great! He was very easy to reach and responded to issues in a timely manner. I never had any issues. I highly recommend him as a landlord. I also loved working with staff - Daisy was very responsive and helpful whenever I had a question.
